Bible Verse: Luke 6: 20-21 Jesus said. Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God, Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be filled.
Prayer: We bring before you Lord, The women of Nigeria who we see in this photo, frying Garri – food to feed their families and no doubt others who are hungry. Today may we bring these people before you – those who may not know decent meals.
We pray for the children who cry themselves to sleep with hunger, and parents who despair to see them needing food.
Lord, please help us to do our part to share with the hungry – not only the food which will satisfy their bodies, but also to share you, The True Bread of Life. For you will satisfy them eternally. Amen
