Bible Verse: Matthew 1:18-25 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”.
Prayer: Father God, we thank you for this season in which we remember and reflect on the birth of your son. The price that he paid for us is more than we can ever imagine and so we remember his sacrifice at this time also and give thanks. As we gather to worship in the busyness of this season reveal something new to us of our saviour’s birth that we may relive the amazing gift that Jesus is to us. We pray that for those in the Cook Islands as they celebrate Christ’s coming into the world, that you would open their eyes and hearts to what that means for our lives today.
