Dear Loving God,
As I pass my loved one into Your tender care,
I find it difficult to bear,
It hurts so bad.
Gracious Lord, let me sense Your love
That will dull the pain I feel, that will
Blur the sharp edges of loss by reminding me that from bad, will comes good.
Help me appreciate that after the sorrow, joy is sweeter.
That I can look forward to better times.
That I can endure anything with You by my side.
