Prayer: Lord, we bring before you those who are preparing for the challenges of sporting activity. We pray for every participant and organiser. May they know your presence and guidance as they respond to the challenge placed before them, and find from You, courage and strength to enable them to carry on and not give up. Just as we, Lord, ask for the same courage and strength as each of us meet the challenges in our own life. Amen
